My First Article
I've always wanted to have a blog where I write about all the silly stuff I think about. So this is it.

Who dis?
Hi, I’m Ivo, a designer and artist from Bulgaria. It’s not exactly my favorite place, but it’s been fine for now. From a young age, I’ve been immersed in the arts. My parents enrolled me in art classes where we painted, sculpted, crafted, and explored countless creative projects.
My first big passion was stop-motion animation. I vividly remember using the family camera to photograph clay figurines. One day, as I flipped through the images, it seemed like they were moving. That moment sparked something in me. I began intentionally adjusting and photographing them frame by frame, essentially teaching myself stop-motion animation long before I had access to the internet.
A few years later, I enrolled in university to study animation. But it didn’t last long. The pace was too slow, and many of the subjects felt irrelevant. I found myself learning far more by pursuing personal art projects outside of class. Eventually, I made the decision to drop out and focus on a career in UI/UX design—a choice that made more sense financially.
Looking back, I’m so glad I made that decision. Creating animated films would have been a constant struggle, but UI/UX design offered a blend of creativity and practicality that I fell in love with. Now, eight years later, I can draw on my background in motion and the arts to enhance my designs, and it’s clear in my work. Switching to design early on allowed me to find purpose in what I do, and it’s a path I’m truly grateful for.
What this blog is about
I’ve been wanting to start my own blog for a while now. It’s not about delivering value in the traditional sense; it’s more a space for me to express my thoughts. If my musings happen to help or inspire someone along the way, that’s just a bonus! I have a lot of interests and ideas I enjoy sharing, so I thought, why not put them out there? Think of this as an online journal—open to anyone who wants to read it.
What to expect
You can expect articles on a wide range of topics, including design, web development, gaming, sports, movies, travel, and more. I’ll aim to post at least one article each month, though I can’t promise that—I’m juggling a lot, and sometimes work gets overwhelming.
Honestly, it would be mind-blowing if people actually read this and future posts. I’m not the type to share much publicly, so the idea of others engaging with my thoughts feels both exciting and a little surreal.
And with that, my first post comes to an end. Thank you for taking the time to read this random corner of the internet. Wishing you a wonderful day!
