Cukam Ne6ta
A community in Stara Zagora for makers and curious people — meeting up, showing work, and building something out of it. In progress, opening later this year.
What it is
A room for people who make things, so that being outside the capital does not mean working out everything alone.
The point is to keep each other on the front edge of it — the tools that keep changing, the skills worth sharpening, work shown before it is finished and put to a room that will argue with it. And to teach: a lot of what happens here is aimed at the people coming up behind us.
Why it exists
Outside the capital it is easy to be the only designer you know. You solve everything alone, you calibrate against nobody, and you slowly convince yourself that whatever you do is normal. Work gets narrower that way without ever feeling like it is getting narrower.
A room fixes that faster than anything else. Put a decision in front of people who make things for a living and you find out in an evening what would otherwise take a year of quietly being wrong.
Staying on the front edge
The ground is moving fastest around AI, and nobody has it figured out — which is exactly why it is worth doing together. What actually works, what quietly does not, what somebody tried last week and would not try again. That kind of thing travels between people far better than it travels through articles.
The same goes for everything else that keeps changing: tools, ways of working, the parts of the craft that are worth sharpening deliberately rather than picking up by accident.
What an evening can be
It will not always take the same shape. A casual evening. Someone presenting. A workshop, a seminar, a design jam with something actually made by the end of it. Ideas shown before they are finished, and solutions put to a room that will argue with them.
Teaching is part of it rather than a side effect. A good deal of what happens here is aimed at the people coming up behind us — the ones deciding whether this is a field they can get into at all.

When it opens
